My three friends and I are at the beach today. Its a ritual with us. Everyday we’re there. Swimming. Sunbaking, talking.
The four of us – I know we all feel a special connection to the ocean. One thats been shared since we were fourteen years old. Four years of friendship and not one boring moment.
On this particular day,the sun is blaring down on our Australian bodies. The sand is the peebly kind when you get closer to the water. There are no waves. This is a bay.
We are all laying down, side by side, our faces turned to the sun for warmth and inspiration. Simultaneously, we all lift our heads up to look at the sea as four dolphins simultaneously jump out of the water and dive back in again.
